摘要
语言与文化关系密切,语言是文化的核心与载体,而文化影响语言的使用与发展,因此,英语教学不仅仅是语言教学,也是文化教学。然而,当前大学英语教学中,中国文化明显处于弱势地位,课堂教学几乎为目的语文化教学。建议通过调整英语教材的内容、提高教师的文化自觉性、完善测试标准等对策改变传统教学模式下中国文化缺失的现状,提高学生的双向跨文化交际能力。
It is known that language and culture are closely related. Language is the core and carrier of culture,and culture also has a great influence on the usage and development of language. As a result,English teaching consists of language teaching and cultural teaching. However,target culture teaching dominates the current college English classes,while Chinese culture is in an obvious unfavorable position. Three countermeasures which include adjusting the textbook content,enhancing teachers' cultural consciousness and improving testing standard are put forward to change the condition of the absence of Chinese culture in the traditional teaching mode,and ultimately to advance college students' two- way oriented intercultural communication competence.
