儒家“为己之学”的现实意义

"为己之学"是儒家传统为学之道的主流,其实质"就是学做人"、"学习成为一个完善的人"。儒家的学做人,大体可以概括为两大方面,即尊德性与道学问,二者的顺序上,尊德性是第一位,道学问是第二位。二者的关系上,是相辅相成,相互促进的关系。随着时代的变迁,这一为学传统已渐行渐远,致使当代大多数学子对"为己之学"提法感到陌生,对其深刻内涵不甚了解,疑议丛生,不一而足。鉴于此有必要重提"为己之学",以唤起学子对"为己之学"真切的领会,即它是由本及末由体及用的正确为学之道。由此确立为己之心,笃实为己之心,正确处理学与用、闻与达的关系。将为己之学聚焦在自身思想道德素质提高上,将为学功夫下在自身能力提高上,契合在内圣外王的功用目的上。

'Self Cultivation'is a momentous component of Confucian moral education thought,and its essence is 'how to be a man,''how to be a perfect man. 'Confucian's learning to be a man can generally be summarized as two aspects,namely the statue of virtue and Tao learning,and the relationship between them is,that is the order,virtue the first,Tao learning the second. The relation is complementing each other,promote each other relations. In modern words,it is both red and expert. As times went on,this learning traditional has been drifting away,only to make the most present students feel strange about' Self Cultivation ',for they do not understanding the deep connotation,have so many suspicion to claim,and so on. In view of this,it is necessary to bring up'Self Cultivation',to arouse the students real understanding on'Self Cultivation ',that is,it is by this way and not by this way to become the correct learning way. Thus one can establish being upright for himself,being of probity for himself,and can deal with the relation between learning and using,to listening and doing. So one can focus being upright for himself on improving their own ideological and moral qualities,concentrating his efforts on improving ability to fulfill the function of a learning both sound in theory and practice
