哥特式小说是18世纪末期、19世纪初期比较盛行的文学体裁。本文从哥特式的人物、哥特式的背景、哥特式的故事结构以及哥特式的主题来研究《弗兰肯斯坦》,认为玛丽·雪莱的小说《弗兰肯斯坦》成功地融合了哥特式小说的特点,是哥特式小说中的典范。

Gothic novel is comparative literature genre at the end of the 18 th century,in the early nineteenth century. This paper from the gothic characters,the gothic,gothic story structure and the background of gothic theme to explore Frankenstein,think o Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein successfully combines the characteristics of the gothic novel,is the epitome of the gothic novel.
