语言是人类最重要的交际工具,被人类赋予了丰富的文化内涵。语言与文化存在着相互依存的关系,语言离不开文化,文化也离不开语言。隐喻是语言的一部分,是文化在言语中的集中表现,不同的文化语境下隐喻蕴含着不同的文化内涵和思维方式,隐喻不能离开文化语境而单独存在。本文主要介绍了隐喻的本质、定义和对文化语境的理解,分析了隐喻与文化语境的关系,并且在文化语境相同与不同的时候,对隐喻意义的理解产生了什么样的影响。

Language is the most important tool for human communication and given rich cultural connotations. Language and culture are interdependent to each other,one being inseparable from the other. Metaphor is a part of language and the manifestation of culture in the speech. Metaphors in different cultural contexts imply different cultural connotations and ways of thinking. Metaphors can not exist alone without cultural contexts. This thesis introduces the nature and definition of metaphor and the understanding of cultural context,analyzes the relationship between metaphor and cultural context,and elaborates the impact of same and different cultural contexts on the understanding of metaphorical meaning.
