On Curriculum System of College English in Skills- based Application- oriented Universities

应用技能型高校大学英语课程体系构建应以社会需求和学生需求分析为依据,根据学生的语言基础,结合人才培养目标来实现。应用技能型高校大学英语课程体系应包括基础学习和应用提高两个阶段,而应用提高阶段则应包括语言文化、语言技能、语言应用、专业英语四个系列的课程。课程设置的特点应体现为阶梯型、个性化与实践性。

Construction of College English curriculum system in skills- based application- oriented universities should be based on the social needs,students' needs,their language ability and objectives of training talents. It should comprise two stages: stage of learning basic knowledge and stage of application and improvement. The latter stage should contain four series of curricula,i. e. language and culture,language skills,language application and professional English. The curricula should present the characteristics of ladder type,individuality and practicality.
