Unable To Escape from Physical Difficulties——Analysis of the Film Flower of Desert in the Perspective of Feminism

从原始社会的自然束缚到当今的消费牵制,人类的身体始终没有得到解放,尤其是女性作为人类独特的重要组成部分更是无法逃脱身体困境。以女性主义角度为出发点,从男权制因素、传统文化、消费主义文化三个方面分析影片《沙漠之花》中主人公华莉丝在索马里和英国伦敦不同背景下所遭遇的身体困境,并由此透射出女性无法摆脱身体困境这一真实境遇。

Human body has never been liberated from the natural shackles in the primitive society to the current containments of consumption. Women,as a unique and important part of human being,are also unable to escape from physical difficulties. This paper analyzes the physical difficulties suffered in Somalia and London by Waris,the heroine of the film Flower of Desert in the perspective of feminism and from three aspects of patriarchal factor,traditional culture and consumptive culture,reflecting the situation where women cannot get rid of physical difficulties.
