芥川龙之介是日本近代著名短篇小说家,新思潮派的杰出代表。其前期作品如《罗生门》《鼻子》《偷盗》,通过细腻的心理描写,塑造了生动的艺术形象,进而对当时残酷的社会现实、人性中善与恶的斗争以及利己主义心态进行了深度的书写。透过人物形象描写,深刻地描绘出了一个充满着薄情寡义和自私利己的世界,展现了作家对这个世界的人与事的看法以及其独到的人性哲学。

Akutagawa was a famous Japanese modern short story writer and an outstanding representative of the School of New Thoughts. His early works Rashomon,The Nose and Steal created vivid artistic images through delicate psychological description,analyzed the cruel social reality,the struggle between good and evil in human nature and egoistic mentality. Through description of characters,Akutagawa depicted a world full of ungrateful egoism and expressed his attitude towards the world and his unique humanistic philosophy.
