What are the challenges of our time,at the forefront of the discipline of architectural history and theory？ This paper explores answers to this question in a global and a Chinese perspective.Suggesting that in China the task is to internationalize the local discourse of architectural history and theory,the paper provides nine recommendations on how to achieve this.The paper ends with a citation of three projects being carried out as examples of working for such an agenda.
