袁烽和尼尔·里奇两位学者在最近几年陆续编著了《建筑数字化编程》《建筑数字化建造》《建筑机器人建造》系列丛书,全面和系统地呈现了建筑数字化设计前沿领域的相关研究成果:从抽象的逻辑与系统方法,到新材料新技术的运用,再到设计—建造、信息—物质、形态—性能、技术—文化无缝连接的机器人设计建造体系。在复杂的建筑信息环境中,连接成为了建筑师的核心竞争力。建筑学的专业和方法都在以令人振奋的方式进行重构,网络化信息协同和高度性能化定制成为了建筑学数字未来的核心。
The series of books "Scripting the Future" "Fabricating the Future" "Robotic Futures" edited by Phillip F. Yuan and Neil Leach in the past three years comprehensively present the latest research on the frontier of digital architectural design: from the abstract logic and systematic methods to the application of new material and fabricating techniques, to the robotic system which integrates with design- construction, information-materialization, formation-performance and culture-technology. Integrating and establishing the complex built environment come to be architect's core competency. The field of architecture is reconstructed in an exciting way. Networked information collaboration and performance based customization become the core of digital future of architecture.
