An Alternative to Open a City A Work Session on Urban Research towards Contemporary Shanghai

文童是有关上海城市研究的一次长达一个月、跨越数座城市的工作对话剪辑。文章从时间、物质、中性结构、室内空间的角度出发重新认识上海的既成现实,以找到打开这座城市的另一种方式。

This article is an edited version of a month-long work talk about the research of Shanghai urban space that traverses several cities. It is anattempt to rethink the status quo of Shanghai through the lens of time, material, neutral structure and interior space, thus an alternative to open this city is explored.
