这一项目由民企对UR都市机构在1950年代建造的公营住宅进行改造而来。项目中,5栋原有的空置住宅楼被划分为3个片区,分别由3家民企承租15-20年,并按照各自的方案进行改造。＂多摩平之森互助之家＂是其中之一,以＂创造直到人生的最后也能活出自我的社区＂为主题,将其中的两栋住宅改建成了老年公寓。这一住区长达50年的历史孕育了绿意盎然、如同公园—般的室外空间,设计利用这一点,
