An Introduction and Review about the Landscape Urbanism Design Studio in University of Pennsylvania

作为一种学科发展的新理念,景观都市主义需要落实在风景园林专业设计课程教学之中。全面介绍了对宾夕法尼亚大学设计学院风景园林学系2014年秋季学期题目为"绿色促进:生产区域"的景观都市主义设计课程教学的背景、理念和方法,然后以作业示例的方式,分别展示了该门设计课程4个项目的教学内容;它们分别是绿色介入、问题空间研究、水装置和生产性区域。最后,作者认为该门设计课程体现了景观都市主义的设计思想和操作手法,提供了一份可以参考的有意义的教案。

As a new concept of landscape architecture discipline, landscape urbanism needs to reflect in landscape architecture design course teaching. In fall of 2014, the LARP-601 Studio Ill in the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Pennsylvania, entitled a course named ＇Green Stimuli： Producing Region＇. This paper introduces the background, theory and approach of this course, elaborates this design course teaching requirements and student＇s works include 4 projects that are green insertion, survey of the problem space, water machine and producing region. The authors believe that this design course reflects the concepts and operations of landscape urbanism, and provides a meaningful lesson plans that would to be learned for others.
