基于“得失观”的汉诗翻译批评

Translation Criticism Standard of Chinese Traditional Poems Based on the Perspective of “Gain and Loss”

翻译过程中关于"失"的问题,自古有之,而诗歌的翻译尤其如此。在汉诗英译的过程中可能会引起"失"的方面层出不穷,尽管翻译学科发展出诸多学派和各式理论,以试图减少翻译之"失",但其面临的挑战依旧十分繁复。反之,"得"是一个较为抽象的概念,在实际翻译中,有时求"得"或许较于免"失"更为容易操作,同时也更有美学价值。通过对具体诗歌翻译的比较分析,总结出在得失观的角度下的翻译批评原则。

Questions about the lost during the process of translation have been exited since ancient times and have never been solved,which happens more frequently in poem translation. Various aspects that may result in probable lost of poem translation were briefly reviewed and a range of schools of translation studies were roughly listed,to show the numerous challenges a translator would face in poem translation process if he attempts to reduce the lost. On the contrary,although being more abstract,gain is easier to manipulate than lost and have more aesthetic value in the actual translation practice. Through the analysis of some examples,a simple criticism standard on poet-ry translation was concluded.
