厦门地区地震活动性分析

Analysis on the Activity of the Earthquakes in Xiamen Area

该文在总结厦门地区地震历史资料和现今地震分布情况的基础上,对厦门地区所处地震带和厦门地区断裂构造进行了分析。分析结果表明;厦门地区历史上没有发生破坏性地震的记录,但受地区外大地震的影响较大;1970年至今厦门地区发生的重大地震为3.5级;厦门地区未来50-100年中仍可能受到地区外6.5级左右地震的影响;厦门地区地震与断裂结构不存在明显的对应关系。

This paper presents analysis on the seismic zone and regional faults in the Xiamen area on the basis of distributions of earthquakes in recent and past.The results show that,although the Xiamen area has no record of ruinous earthquake,it is still affected by the big earthquake outside.From 1970 to present,the magnitudes of earthquakes occurred in the Xiamen area were no more than 3.5.The Xiamen area may be affected by earthquakes outside on 6.5 order of magnitude in 50 to 100 years.In addition,the relationship between fault and earthquake is not remarkable.
