The joke is a kind of form of oral creation of the people. It is a kind of language style, which has obvious time and so-cial nature. The contemporary Russian jokes contain Russian culture, reflecting the public opinion and position. Because of the differ-ences in language and culture between China and Russia, Russian jokes show unique national character. It is also a problem for thelearners to understand and translate them, which restrict the effectiveness of the language and culture communication to some extent.From the perspective of psychological linguistics, language and literature to explore Russian jokes, it is conducive to a deeper under-standing of Russian jokes, and then to their translation and it is significant to the Russian language and translation teaching practice.
