基于H.264的快速帧间模式选择算法研究

摘要 H.264采用全搜索模式进行帧间模式选择,给编码器带来了高运算复杂度。论文从运动矢量代价和宏块划分方向的单调关系入手提出了一种快速帧间模式选择算法;从宏块与子宏块进行运动搜索时的运动矢量的相关性入手进行了UMHexagonS搜索算法改进。实验表明,在图像质量基本不变的情况下,编码时间平均节省40%以上。 A full searching mode is used for H .264 inter frame mode selection algorithm ,which bring a high computing complexion to the encoder .Inter frame mode selection algorithm is improved based on the fact that there is a monotonic rela-tionship between the motion vector cost and macroblock division direction .Meanwhile ,UM HexagonS algorithm is improved according to the correlation of motion vector of the macroblock and the sub macroblock .The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce about 40% encoding time with negligible change of the quality of the image .
