Preparation and characterization of paraffin microencapsulated phase change materials

摘要 采用溶胶-凝胶法,以正硅酸乙酯(TEOS)为硅源,制备出以石蜡为芯材、二氧化硅为壁材的相变储能微胶囊,分别采用扫描电子显微镜、傅里叶红外光谱仪、差示扫描量热仪考察了微胶囊的微观形貌、化学结构、热性能及热稳定性。实验结果表明已成功地制备出形态完整、结构致密的微胶囊相变材料,微胶囊的储能密度为50.7 J/g,包含量为34.89%。 With Ethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as silica source,microencapsulated phase change material was prepared by using paraffin wax as the core material, silicon dioxide as shell material via sol-gel methods. Scanning electronic microscope (SEM) , Fourier transformation infrared spectroscope ( FT-IR ) , differential scanning calorimeter ( DSC ) were used to characterize the microstructure, chemical structure and the thermal properties of paraffin microencapsulated phase change material with SiO2 shell respectively. The SEM results suggest that the paraffin is well encapsulated with the existence of SiO2 shell and exhibit a spherical morphology. The DSC results indicate that the latent heat of paraffin microcapsules is 50.7 J/g and the encapsulation ratio of the paraffin is 34.89%.
