弓形虫是一种重要的机会性致病原虫,孕妇妊娠早期感染弓形虫,可引起流产、早产、畸胎、死胎、出生缺陷等先天性弓形虫病;而男性感染弓形虫可导致生殖障碍甚至不育。本文就近年来国内外有关弓形虫致睾丸、附睾及精子损伤机制的研究资料作一简要综述。

Toxoplasma gondii is an key opportunistic protozoan.When the pathogen infects pregnant women,it can cause miscarriages,premature births,fetal anomalies,stillbirths,and birth defects,and it can also cause congenital toxoplasmosis.When the pathogen infects men,it can can cause reproductive disorders and infertility.This article reviews recent research on the mechanisms by which toxoplasmosis damages the testes,epididymis,and sperm.
