摘要
小小说已有与短篇小说、中篇小说和长篇小说争锋之势,然而小小说的英译和国外推介却差强人意。英译小小说时,稍有不慎,就会出现逻辑问题。导致其出现的主要因素有:作者和译者受限于思维定势,措辞不当,忽视上下文语境,忽略常理。讨论小小说英译中的逻辑问题有助于进一步提高译文的质量,更好地促进小小说英译事业的发展,这对于中国文学走出去具有积极意义。
Short-short stories are now enjoying the same splendor as short stories, medium-length novels and full-length novels, but their translation and introduction to the outside world are barely satisfactory because the theoretical studies of their translation have hardly begun. Short-short stories are short and punchy and must be impeccably logical. During their translation, one slightly careless move might lead to logical problems owning to mind-set of both the writer and the translator, lexical differences between Chinese and English, the context and violation of human nature and such like.
