国外社区图书馆建设经验及其对我国的启示

On the Construction Experience from Foreign Community Libraries and its Enlightenment to China

欧美国家的社区图书馆建设起步较早,充分重视图书馆定位,在总分馆制、社区信息服务、技术应用与培训、组织合作等方面取得显著成果。为适应数字时代大众阅读需求变化和期望,社区图书馆将在加大技术投入,加强社区信息服务,打造公共阅读环境空间等方面进一步探索实践。借鉴英美等西方国家经验,该研究者提出我国社区图书馆发展的若干对策以提高社区图书馆建设和服务质量,促进其可持续发展,满足大众对科学知识和精神文化的需求。

European and American Countries had devoted to the study on construction of community library in earlier stage, and had achieved in central-branch library system, community information service, computer technology and readers＆#39; training, and cooperation with social organizations, owning to their great attention on the cultural value and social function of community libraries. Adapting to readers＆#39; reading requirement and expectation in nthedigitalage, community libraries would further explore applicationofcomputertechnology, community information service, and public reading environment. By learning from western experiences, the paper puts forward some suggestions on sustainable development of community libraries in China, with an aim to improve their services to meet people＆#39;s demands for scientific knowledge and spiritual culture.
