摘要
PLC(Power Line Communication电力线通信)是利用普通电力线作为载体,通过PLC Modem将网络信号输入电力线以及从电力线中提取网络信号的一种网络传输方式。该文以小规模农村小学校园局域网为例,通过对传统双绞线布线、无线宽带路由器组网、PLC电力线组网三种方式进行对比分析,说明了在接入点稀疏分散、接入点之间有楼层及墙体等明显隔离物的环境中,PLC比传统双绞线布线和无线宽带路由器组网方式有着显著的优势。
PLC(Power Line Communication) is a kind of communication technology that transmits data through existing power cables system. A PLC modem, named sender, modulates the data to be sent and injects it into power cables, and another PLC modem, named receiver, de-modulates the data extracted from power cables to read it. In this paper traditional UTP cable, wireless router, PLC modem systems in small rural primary school network engineering environment are compared carefully. The result is PLC technology has distinct advantage when the access points are distributed sparsely and separated by walls and floors.
