View of SCO Development Strategies from Ufa Summit

在新的国际形势下,上海合作组织在安全、经济等领域面临新的挑战和威胁。根据2015年7月上合组织乌法峰会通过的《上海合作组织至2025年发展战略》,成员国将继续把加强地区安全、开展经济贸易和人文领域合作作为上合组织的主要发展方向,同时将本着开放原则吸纳新成员。但是,上合组织不应把打造"欧亚非西方集团"作为自己的首要任务。中亚地区的安全与发展仍应是上合组织工作的重点。

Under the new international situation, Shanghai Cooperation Organization is faced with new challenges and threats in such fields as safety and economy. According to the Development Strategy of SCO until 2025 approved by SCO in Ufa Summit in July 2015, the member states will continue to take the strengthening of regional safety, launch of economic trade and cooperation in humanistic field as the major development directions of SCO, and will absorb new members in the open principle. However, SCO should not take the construction of ＂Eurasian Non-western Group＂ as its primary task. The safety and development of Central Asia region are still the emphasis of the work of SCO.
