A study on the Teaching Effects of Large-size College English Classroom Teaching

摘要 该研究通过对951名学生和22名教师的问卷调查,考察了较大规模大学英语课堂教学情况。研究发现,虽然较大规模课堂教学具有缓解教学资源不足的状况,节省教学开支等优点,但是较大规模课堂具有师生互动较少、师生之间有距离感、课堂管理压力大、容易受到干扰等不足。 This study attempts to investigate the teaching effects of large-size college English classroom teaching by conducting a survey on 951 college students and 22 teachers.It is found that large-size college English classroom teaching possesses the demerits of less classroom interaction,lukewarm relationship between teachers and students,huge classroom management pressure and higher susceptibility to be disturbed,although it enjoys the benefits of easing the pressure of insufficient teaching resources and cutting budgets.
