作为公共知识分子的STS(PSTS):一个亟待开拓的研究场域

STS Researchers As Public Intellectuals( PSTS) :A Research Field That Should Be Pioneered Urgently

进入21世纪,学界兴起了一股呼吁STS成为公共知识分子(PSTS)的呼声,针对这一思潮,文章就STS是否应强化公共知识分子角色、PSTS所应关注的问题域、所提供的知识的特征、所应遵循的规范体系,以及PSTS的未来演化逻辑等问题进行了探索性解读,最后,分析了PSTS理念对中国自然辩证法事业的启示。

In the beginning of the 21st century, there is a rising voice which calls on the STS scholars to become public intellectuals （ PSTS）, for which trend, the paper tries to probe into the following questions ： Whether the role of the STS researchers as public intellectuals should be intensified？ What are the problem sets that the PSTS should be concerned？ What are the features of the knowledge that is provided by PSTS？ What are the norms that should be obeyed by PSTS？ What will PSTS be like in the future？ By tentative answers to the above questions, the paper fur- ther researches on the inspiration of the idea of PSTS to Chinese natural dialectics.
