李文藻是清代齐鲁闻名金石学家、藏书家,官至桂林官府同知。他自幼天资俊朗,才思敏捷,能通经史、善诗文、嗜藏书、精金石、达方志,被主考官钱大昕誉为"天下才"。关于其生卒年代一直存有争议,本文从其墓志铭、作品以及其与友人的交游入手分析判定其确切的生卒年代,这对于我们进一步了解其作品的时代背景和创作环境有重要学术意义。

Li Wenzao was a well-known specialist in epigraphy and library of Qi and Lu in Qing Dynasty.During that period,he had made so great progress in officialdom that he became Guilin governor.He was intelligent and quick-witted;What＇s more,he was good at Confucian classics,poetry,library,epigraphy and local chronicles.So he was honored as ＂genius＂ by the examiner,Qian Daxin.However,his dates of birth and death have been controversial.By doing research on his epitaph,works and his communication with his friends,we can get to know the dates of his birth and death,which,to a certain extent,has a great influence on the understanding of the background of his time and creation.
