On the Core Role of College Party Committees in Improving the Quality of New Undergraduate Education

提高新建本科院校教育质量,是实现我国高等教育区域布局战略意图的必然要求,也是新建本科院校生存和发展的必然要求。学校党委作为"领导核心",要自觉更新办学理念,引导教师转变教育观念;要遵循区域性、应用性、互动性和错位性的定位原则,科学定位;要通过学习培训、考察交流等形式加强干部和师资队伍建设;要在处理好制度模仿与创新、制定和执行、民主与集中关系的基础上,加强制度建设;要围绕合格和特色相结合、适应性和服务性相结合、学生现实需求和持续增值相结合的质量观,加强质量文化建设。

New undergraduate colleges necessarily rely on high quality of education to survive and develop. As ＂leading core＂, college Party Committee should consciously update educational philosophy to guide the teachers to change their educational concepts, settle developing orientation scientifically following regional, applicable, interactive, mismatched principles, enforce faculty construction through study, training, exchanging visits and other forms, strengthen system construction while dealing well with relations between imitation and innovation, development and implementation, and democracy and concentration, emphasize quality culture on combination of qualification and characteristics, adaptability and services, the practical needs of students and sustained value-added concept.
