A professional chemical research laboratory needs to adapt to the variability of scientific research projects and various complex hazard sources.This asks for a higher level of laboratory safety management than that of common teaching laboratories.In our laboratory,a laboratory safety system as the hardware and a laboratory management information system as the software are set up to promote the safety management level and ensure the safe operation throughout the research process,based on the people-oriented principle.
