摘要
文纳特卡制兴起于美国,20世纪20年代末输入中国,并在一些地方进行了初步实验。文纳特卡制的主旨是打破根深蒂固的班级授课制,倡导个别化教学,使每个儿童依据自己的能力和智力自由发展;同时主张加强教育与社会生活的联系,通过开展团体活动和创造活动培养儿童的社会意识。文纳特卡制实验无论在美国还是中国都取得了引人注目的成就,其儿童本位的精神实质至今仍不失其教育价值。
Winnetka System was originated in America. It was introduced into China in the 1920s, and it has been experimented in some places. Winnetka System's main object is to break the entrenched system of class teaching, advocate individualized teaching, and make every child develop freely according to his ability and intelligence. At the same time, it claims to strengthen the links between education and social life, cultivate the social consciousness of children by group and creative activities. The experiments of Winnetka System have made remarkable achievements both in America and in China. Its essence of children-centeredness still has the education value today.
