目前在肛肠疾病中运用较多的提肛运动,始见于马王堆出土医书《天下至道谈》,原称"翕州",古称为"撮谷道",通俗地讲,就是有规律地做收缩肛门及会阴部肌肉的动作,治病消疾延年。唐朝孙思邈医学家对此运动很是推崇,《枕中方》中规劝世人"谷道宜常撮",认为肛门及周围肌肉间歇的处于运动状态对强身健体很是适用。该运动可防治脱肛、便秘、腹泻、痔疮、便血、腰骶疼痛等病症,且对肛肠疾病术后常见的坠胀、切口疼痛、水肿及便秘也有较好的疗效。该运动方法简便、疗效可靠,患者可自觉进行,节约药费,无副作用,值得临床进一步推广应用。须注意,有些情况并不适宜做提肛运动,急症类如崁顿痔、炎性外痔;感染类如肛周脓肿、肛门局部感染;以及身体虚弱、气血不足者。
