Study on the partial biological characteristics of the Alar strain of E. stiedai

摘要 为了研究斯氏艾美尔球虫(E.stiedai)阿拉尔株的生物学特性,试验以30~35日龄健康兔为研究对象,经口感染8.0×104个/只孢子化纯种E.stiedai卵囊,从感染后第10天开始,每天收集粪便进行卵囊计数,计算其最小潜在期和每克粪便的虫卵数(EPG),并采用常规方法测定卵囊最短孢子化时间和卵囊大小。结果表明:在染虫后第13天才从粪便中检出卵囊,之后卵囊排出量逐渐增多,至感染后第24天达到峰值,而后逐渐减少,至第40天几乎检不出;该虫株最短孢子化时间为33h,卵囊大小为36.4(31.3~38.7)μm×22.8(19.1~27.8)μm,卵囊指数为1.59。 To study the biological characteristics of the Alar strain of Eimeria stiedai (E. stiedai), 30 to 35 day old healthy rabbits were selected as research object, and each rabbit was orally infected with 8.0 × 104 sporulated purebred oocysts of E. stiedai. Rabbit feces were collected for daily oocyst count every day from the first 10 d after infection, and the minimum potential period and the number of egg per gram (EPG) of faeces were calculated. The shortest sporulated time and size of oocysts were determined by conventional methods. The results showed that the oo- cysts were detected from feces at 13 d after infection, and then the amount of oocysts per gramme gradually increased, which reached a peak at 24 d after infection 24 days and then declined continuously, and was almost undetectable at 40 d. The sporulated shortest time, the size of oo- cysts, and the index of the oocysts for the strain of E. stiedai were 33 h, 36.4 (31.3 to 38.7) μm × 22.8 ( 19.1 to 27.8) μm, and 1.59, respectively.
