Based on the deep exploration of lexical basic characteristics, the construction of business English corpus in universities and colleges analyses and explores the lexical dimension based on the writing style and the perception of abbreviations extensively. And it takes the differences between business English teaching and general English teaching a step further so as to enhance the dimension hierarchy in corpus construction. To meet the purpose of using Business English, specific explorations and analyses are performed on the various factors that affect the dimension of business English corpus construction, thus providing critical element for the formation of new normal in business English teaching. In a word, the construction of business English corpus in universities and colleges makes comprehensive development based on the three dimensions （purpose, application, and value）, so as to promote the substantial extension of business English corpus and meet the basic requirements of business English teaching.
