厚皮甜瓜新品种——‘网络2号’的选育

A new muskmelon cultivar——‘Wangluo No.2'

‘网络2号’是以‘B32’为母本、‘B61’为父本杂交育成的网纹类厚皮甜瓜,属中晚熟品种。该品种果实圆形,果皮墨绿,上覆浅绿色-白色网纹,平均单果质量1.8-2.1 kg。果肉绿色,种腔小,果肉厚4.3-4.6 cm,果实中心可溶性固形物含量14.5%-15.6%,松脆爽口,果实商品率95%以上。植株全生育期110-120 d,果实发育期40-45 d,易坐果,耐贮运性好,适于我国东部地区日光温室和大棚栽培,干燥地区干燥季节也可进行小拱棚和露地栽培。2012年11月通过国家品种鉴定。

＇Wangluo No. 2＇ was selected from ＇B32＇×＇B61＇, and is a new mid-late melon variety. The fruit shape is round. Its fruit peel is dark green with light green-white network. The average fruit weight is about 1.8-2.1 kg. The crisp green flesh is about 4.3-4.6 cm thick, and soluble solid content of central flesh is 14.5%-15.6%. The whole fruit period is 110-120 days, and the fruit development period is 40-45 days. The commodity rate is above 95 percent. In addition, it has good transportation, good fruit setting and small fruit cavity characters. It is suitable to cultivate in east of China in plastic shed, greenhouse or plastic tunnel, and in open fields in west dry areas. It was appraised by official of national board in November 2012.
