Brief talk on development way of live pigs designated slaughterhouses

1997年起,全国屠宰企业担当起政府赋予的生猪定点屠宰重任。18年来企业为广大消费者提供了"放心肉"和维护肉类市场的良好秩序作出了重大贡献。在此期间,国家有关主管部门先后提出,要求屠宰企业改变经营方式和发展多元化,以进一步搞好肉品质量安全和生猪屠宰产业。

Since 1997, the national slaughtering enterprises were given the task of rive pigs desig- hated slaughter by the government. For 18 years enterprises had made a significant contribution to provi- ding customers with ＂safe meat＂ and maintaining the meat market in good order. During this period, the relevant competent departments had successively proposed to require slaughtering enterprises to change operation mode and development diversity. It was to further improve the meat quality safety and the pig slaughtering industry.
