译者的母语素养

On a Translator＇s Mother-tongue Attainments

译者的母语素养是译者的必备素养之一。我国译者有较为深厚的母语素养传统，但当前译者的母语素养却存在着一些问题。提高自身的母语素养，变单向语言文化输入为双向语言文化能力平衡发展是译出优秀译文的有利保障；译者的母语文化认知水平和深层次的母语解读能力是成为高素质翻译人才的前提条件。

It is stated that mother-tongue attainments are of great prominence for a translator. Traditional require- ments and the present status of the translator＇ s mother-tongue attainments are expounded. The translator needs delib- erate training and education on his mother-tongue cultivation if he could manipulate his mother tongue with ease when translating. To be highly qualified, a translator had better grasp his mother tongue from the perspective of cognition and be further infused with linguistic and cultural knowledge of a foreign language as well as of his native language.
