Living Library is an activity based on dialogues and is becoming more and more popular in recent years. This activity builds a communication platform for the library and readers,expanding the service of library. The origin and domestic and overseas development of living library are discussed with the living library of Shanghai Uni- versity of Electric Power being an example. The experiences, insufficiency and strategies of living library service in college are explored.
