Enlightenment of Huang Yanpei's Thoughts of Vocational Education on the Application-Oriented Universities

我国职业教育的开创者黄炎培先生,提出职业教育"社会化""科学化",以及职业教育要培养"善良的公民"等职业教育思想对应用型高校的建设具有重要的指导意义。应用型大学应遵从职业教育的社会性、科学性以及人才培养的全面性,在学科建设、专业设置、师资队伍建设、人才培养方式等方面围绕地方社会与经济发展所需,科学规划,培养出能够适应社会发展和产业转型的高素质应用型人才。

Mr.Huang Yanpei,the founder of China＇s vocational education put forward that vocational education should be＂social＂ and＂scientific＂ and that the aim of vocational education is to cultivate＂kind-hearted citizens＂.His ideas on vocational education significantly guide the construction for application-oriented universities/colleges which should follow the sociality and scientification in vocational education.Specifically their efforts in constructing disciplines,es-tablishing specialties,cultivating instructors,and the mode of educating talents,etc.should be in line with social or economic demand with scientific planning,thus producing high-quality application-oriented personnel who are qual-ified to social development and industrial transformation.
