由于居住地域、自然环境、生活习俗以及传统文化等因素影响,傣族人民群众在长期的历史发展进程中创造了异彩纷呈的服饰文化,具有浓郁的地域特征、独特的审美情趣以及丰富的文化内涵。近年来,随着傣族地区经济社会的发展、人民生活水平的提高以及价值观念的变化,傣族的传统服饰也发生了较大变迁。发挥地方政府的主导作用、培育傣族群众的文化自觉意识、建立傣族服饰博物馆以及加强傣族服饰文化的活态传承,是傣族服饰文化传承的重要途径。

Owing to the effects of their residential locations, natural environments, customs, traditional culture and other factors, Dai people have created a splendid costume culture in their long history of development, with distinctive regional features, special aesthetic interests and rich cultural connotations, as an important part of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. In recent years, the development of the local economy, improvement of people＇s life quality and changing of people＇s values in the Dai communities have led to drastic changes of Dai people＇s clothing. The majors ways to inherit the costume culture of Dai people may include giving play to the leading role of the government, arousing the cultural self-consciousnesses of Dai people, establishing a museum of Dai people＇s costumes and propelling the inheriting of Dai people＇s costumes in real life.
