This article discusses the linkage between the liver theory of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine from the anatomy,physiology and sections connected to the liver. At the same time,the lingkage between hepatic theory involved nature and four seasons and modern medicine were also discussed. We try to recognize and understand the hepatic theory of traditional Chinese medicine by modern medicine means.
