Build the concept of translational medicine,accelerate discipline construction,and improve the competitiveness of local medical undergraduate universities

学科建设作为高等医学院校培养人才、科学研究以及服务社会的重要平台,是高校办学能力和办学水平的重要体现。新建地方医学本科院校由于历史原因及条件的限制,加之办学规模的不断扩大,导致其在学科建设工作中存在许多问题,不能更好地适应教学改革发展的要求。转化医学作为一种新兴的医学研究理念,可以促进传统医学理论教学与临床医疗实践、医学基础研究成果与临床实际应用的有效结合,更好地服务于应用型人才的培养目标。在医学高校发展过程中,应以转化医学的理念指导学科建设,以利于提升地方医学本科院校科办学能力。

Discipline Construction as an important platform for talent cultivation,scientific research,and society service,can reflect capability and levels of running a college.Due to historical reasons and conditions, together with expanding size of running college leads to many problems existed in discipline construction,cannot meet the requirements of educational reform and development.Translational medicine as a new concept of medical research,can promote the effective combination of traditional medicine theoretical teaching and clinical medical practice,and basic medical research achievements and clinical practical application,and is good for training objective of serving applied talents.In process of the development of medical colleges and universities,discipline construction should be guided by the concept of translational medicine,which is beneficial to improve the levels of running schools in local medical undergraduate universities.
