Environmental Awareness and Environmental Behavior of City Residents in China

摘要随着我国经济高速发展,城市扩张,环境问题日益凸显,环境保护日趋重要。采用2010年中国综合社会调查(CGSS)城市居民数据,测度了各省际居民环境意识、环保行为、环境知识和环境现状认知。分析发现:环境意识、收入水平、环境知识、环境现状均对我国居民的环保行为有显著的正向影响,教育水平和政治身份对环保行为的影响不显著。 With China＇s rapid economic development, city expansion, environmental problems have become increasingly prominent, environmental protection is becoming more and more important. This paper uses CGSS（2010） city residents＇ data, measure the provincial residents＇ environmental awareness, environmental behavior, environmental knowledge and environmental condition. The regression analysis based on the CGSS （2010） micro data of city residents showed environmental awareness, income level, environmental knowledge, environmental condition have significant positive impact on the environmental behavior of urban residents. The education level and joining the communist party have no significant influence on environmental behavior.
