摘要
刻板印象内容模型基于热情和能力双维结构建立四项前提假设,备受肯定与广泛应用的同时,亦受到理论和现实的挑战。在中国传统文化与社会现实面前,模型的验证与应用可基于社会心理学视角完成本土化过程,从话语表述上重新建立符合中国人用语习惯的形容词描述方式,结合理论和环境对个体或群体的解读与影响完善维度框架,充分考虑中国当前社会结构因素同维度间的关联性,以单一和交互视角描述社会群体刻板印象的同时重视个体多重群体身份的影响,最终实现模型的理论与实践双重价值。
Basing on the two dimensional structure of passion and capability, Stereotype Content Model establishes four hypotheses about intergroup stereotype. While it is well accepted and widely applied, it faces theoretical and practical challenges. In front of traditional Chinese culture and Chinese society, the verification and application of this model can be indigenized through a social psychological approach. Its discourse can adopt a sequence of descriptive adjectives that are familiar to Chinese people, and its dimensional framework can be perfected through a thorough consideration of theory and environment's interpretation of and impacts on individuals and groups. It needs to have a fuller exploration into China's current social elements and their relations to the many dimensions of the model. It should also focus on the impacts of individuals' multiple group identities while it intends to describe social groups' stereotype content through a single and a reciprocal perspectives. Only after these steps can the model realize its theoretical and practical values.
