摘要
《爱玛》是英国女作家简·奥斯汀最重要的一部代表作,反讽手法在这部小说中运用得也最为成熟。本文在全面介绍奥斯汀小说反讽手法的特点及其作用的基础上,着重探讨《爱玛》这部小说。文章从三个角度来做出具体分析,分别是:人物言语行为的前后矛盾与重叠反复、故事叙述过程中设置多重陷阱、情境设置巧妙离奇,使读者更加深入透彻地理解和体会《爱玛》中反讽的奇妙之处。
Emma is the most important respective work of British female writer Jane Austen. The ironic technique in the novel is also the most mature. This article will comprehensively introduce the characteristics and effects of irony in the works of Austen, and then, we will discuss Emma. It will discuss the conflict among character＇s words and acts, unique narrative perspective and traps in the story to the unique situational structure and the twist plot. So, it can also help the readers understand the wonder of the ironic technique in Emma.
