目前《吕氏春秋》学术史、研究史方面的研究十分欠缺,存在很大研究空间。在元刊本《吕氏春秋》的基础上,明代刊刻出版了许多新的重要的《吕氏春秋》版本,在中国《吕氏春秋》学术史、研究史、传播史上具有重要地位。明初的一百多年,《吕氏春秋》研究一片空白,是"《吕氏春秋》研究史的冬天"。整个万历时期,是明代刊刻出版《吕氏春秋》重要版本最多的时期,是明代《吕氏春秋》研究史的高峰。万历之后,《吕氏春秋》赏析评点学术研究有逐渐成为主流之势。

The Wanli period is the peak of the study history in the Ming Dynasty, in which the most important versions were published. After Wanli, the appreciation commentary research has become the mainstream.
