摘要
大学既是一个泛化的概念,又在高校分类体系中有所特指。大学与学院的区别在于其以学术发展为导向,履行大学的多种职能。由学院到大学转换需要建立在大学组织特性基础上,通过立足大学本质、生成大学文化,完善治理结构、提升学术权力,改革评价制度、强化质量观念,做好系统规划、形成运行机制等措施,加快内涵发展,营造大学更名的有利条件。
University is not only a generalized concept, but also a specified concept in the classification system of colleges and universities. University differs from college in that the former performs a variety of functions based on its research-oriented development. The process of transforming a college to a university can be accomplished with such measures as generating university culture based on the nature of the university, improving the academic power based on the governance structure, strengthening its quality based on the evaluation system reform, and forming operational mechanisms based on system planning.
