This paper elaborated the working principle of air source heat pump water heater, from the hot water demand calculation, energy sav- ing demand and energy consumption or cost calculation two aspects analyzed and compared the energy saving effect of different hot water supply schemes, evaluated the economic benefits produced by air source heat pump hot water system, pointed out that the system had good investment earnings rate.
