This paper elaborated the necessity of basic concept and its development of green building, from the land saving, energy saving, water saving and other aspects introduced the use principle of green building technology, and discussed the economic benefits brought by green build- ing, put forward some suggestions of developing green buildings, helpful to realize the sustainable development of construction industry.
