摘要冷战结束以后,中国实力的迅速崛起深刻地重塑着亚太地区的秩序。作为一个中等强国的澳大利亚从霍华德政府时期开始在中美之间奉行均衡外交政策。对澳大利亚来说,中国在经济上与自己高度互补,而美国是其盟友,只有同时保持与它们的良好关系才能使自己的国家利益最大化。在可预见的未来,澳大利亚会继续维持和美国的同盟关系,中国则可以利用澳大利亚来促进中美关系的平稳发展。 After the Cold War ended,the evolution of Asia-Pacific regional order is profoundly influenced by the rapid rise of China＇s power.Australia as a middle power began to carry out the balanced foreign policy between China and America from the Howard administration.For Australia,the economies of China and Australia are highly complementary to one another and America is its ally.Only maintaining good relations with them at the same time can maximize its national interest.In the predictable future,Australia will continue to maintain the alliance with America,and China can make use of Australia to promote the steady development of the relationship between China and America.
