OBJECTIVE To research the drug sensitivity and characteristics of pathogenic bacteria in patients with esophagitis complicated with fungal infections, so as to provide the basis for clinical treatment. METHODS From Mar. 2014 to Feb. 2015, 59 cases were selected as the research group who diagnosed as esophagitis with fungal infections. At the same time, 65 patients were selected as the control group. The control group was excluded from the fungal esophagitis. The clinical data of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Fungus detection and drug susceptibility analysis were conducted to the research group. RESULTS In the proportion of patients with dia- betes, broad-spectrum antibiotics, acid inhibitors, the study group was significantly more than the control group (P〈0.05). From the study group of patients, 59 fungal isolates were isolated from all, there were 6 kinds of fun- gi, and there were mainly Candida albicans, Candida Candida and Candida krusei, accounting for 35. 59%, 28.81% and 20. 34% respectively. The fungi were sensitive to nystatin and amphotericin B and the sensitivity rates were 100%. CONCLUSION Fungus detection and drug susceptibility analysis need to be conducted for pa- tients with esophagifis complicated with fungal infections so that clinical medication and the rationality of drug use can be guaranteed. It can effectively reduce the secondary infections, and have a positive effect on the prevention and treatment of the fungus esophagltis.
