The Bilateral Trade Development Status among China-Russia-Mongolia and the Feasibility Analysis on Free Trade Area of Three Countries

中俄蒙三国地缘经济关系日益密切,运用TCD指数和RCA指数对贸易结合度和贸易互补性进行的分析表明,三国产业结构与贸易具有很强的互补特征。三国需要增进政治互信,通过加强互联互通,构建"中俄蒙经济走廊",创新边境经济合作模式,构筑中俄蒙投资服务促进体系等措施推动自由贸易区的建设进程。

China-Russia-Mongolia free trade area is the best option to promote the economic and trade coop- eration, enhance mutual trust and achieve win-win cooperation. From the perspective of analyzing the present bi- lateral economic and trade cooperation among three countries, this paper utilizes the indexes of trade complemen- tarity degree （TCD） and revealed comparative advantage （RCA） to explore deeply into trade complementarity and shows the specific characteristics of trade complementary products. Some measures should be taken to acceler- ate the building of the free trade area including developing the connectivity, building the China-Russia-Mongolia economic passage, making innovations on the economic cooperation pattern in the border region, optimizing the trade structure and cooperation rule and paying more efforts studying the feasibility of the free trade area.
