Two literary supplements Front and Literature and Art in Ta Kung Pao of Chongqing were important parts of literature in the Anti-Japanese national united front,on which many original and translated poems were published.The study on poems translated about the war,language expression and forms acceptable to the broad masses reveals that translation was influenced by the dominant ideology and political and cultural contexts of the war.
